Winner: American Society of Interior Designers: 2018 Georgia Chapter Design Excellence Award - Hospitality - Bronze Award

This project is a mixed-use development located on West Peachtree Street in Midtown Atlanta. The lobby has a high-end hospitality, hotel lobby essence while encompassing the functional needs of a leasing office, work room, packaging and mailroom. To capture the hospitality spirit, we created an angled, highly- textured feature wall highlighted by grazing light. A custom designed reception desk stands in front of the feature wall and houses 24 hour concierge services. Throughout the project you will see a nod to a Miami Beach design by the use of expansive glass, white tones and pops of color, incorporated into a clean, open floor plan. In this 21 story tower, the eight floor contains a shared clubroom for residents, including a catering kitchen, and complete fitness facility. This concept creates a current, minimalistic mid-century modern aesthetic throughout the amenity areas. One major challenge was getting potential tenants from the parking garage to the front entry of the lobby without the use of bold graphics or obvious wayfinding. It was also crucial for us to use the front corner of the lobby located at the corner of 8th Street and West Peachtree to draw in future residents. On the corner, we created a jewel box with custom lighting and iconic furnishings drawing in future residence. Another major challenge of the design was creating full views to the amenity deck pool from the moment you stepped off the elevator, while maintaining the greatest impact on the interior amenity space. As a result we used a curved full height glass wall expanding your view upon stepping off the elevator through the club room to the symmetrically designed pool.
