RJTR provided master planning, architecture design, structural, MEP design, interior design, and FF&E services for the project located in the SouthPark area of Charlotte, NC. Apex SouthPark is a highly visible next-generation, mixed-use development encompassing two towers of world-class luxury apartments, a 175-room full service hotel with rooftop amenities, as well as a new 35,000 SF worship center for SouthPark Church. Element is a high-rise multifamily portion of this development, with 345 luxury apartment units. Element’s units boast high-end condo level finishes with glass tile backsplashes, quartz countertops, LED backlit vanities, and extensive balconies. IItalian Calcutta marble-style tiles and walnut paneling span double height walls, a 3-dimensional feature light wall provides a backdrop to the 24-hour concierge desk, and a grand staircase + balcony with glass handrails make up the intricately designed lobby and leasing space. The clubroom has floor to ceiling storefront with direct views of the Uptown Charlotte skyline, see through fireplace with luxurious lounge areas on each side, a private theater, communal kitchen area with a 10’ live edge dining table, and a separate game room area with poker, pool, and shuffleboard tables. Two large amenity courtyards showcase the pool, grilling + fire pit areas, and pool-side cabanas. Supplemental amenity areas includes a pet spa, rentable private conference rooms, and a Top Golf Swing Suite golf simulator. The project as a whole boasts luxury finishes and furnishings with an elaborate attention to detail that creates spaces that are both functional and elegant.
