RJTR is providing architectural, interior design, and FF&E services for the new Emory Healthcare Orthopaedics & Spine Center and Sports Performance & Research Center at the Atlanta Falcons’ practice facility campus in Flowery Branch, Georgia. With a combined 29,000 GSF, the two programs will be housed in a new two-story medical office building featuring views of the outdoor practice fields and a viewing portal into the Falcons’ existing indoor practice facility. The highly innovative clinic contains 16 exam rooms, a full MRI & radiology suite, a Physical Therapy gym with treatment rooms, and a state-of-the-art Sports Performance Lab consisting of a research MRI, a magnetically shielded room (MSR) for use with MEG equipment, recessed force plates and treadmills, and an extensive motion-capturing camera system. The new facility is expected to be complete in Fall 2020 and will offer services to both Falcons’ players as well as the general public.
