Richard has over 27 years of experience in a variety of project types with a particular emphasis on hospitality design.  While well versed in such typologies as K-12, higher education, and commercial office buildings, his true workplace passion is hotels and resorts.   He has been fortunate enough to be involved in a number of high profile resort projects across the United States, Central America and the Caribbean.  He has also spent a significant amount of time in the field on large construction sites and has a keen understanding of the balance between something which is constructible and which protects the design vision of a project.  He is committed to the concept of “doing good work well.”  In his spare time, he enjoys European soccer, getting hands-on with projects at home and spending time with his wife and three small children.
